The Role

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials using heavy vehicles.

Key Duties May Include:

• Operate heavy vehicles safely across regional and long-distance routes
• Transport goods, materials or equipment between locations
• Complete vehicle safety checks before and after trips
• Ensure loads are appropriately positioned, secured and transported safely
• Assist with loading and unloading where required
• Monitor vehicle performance and report mechanical or safety issues
• Maintain accurate driving, delivery and transport records
• Plan and follow appropriate routes and delivery schedules
• Comply with fatigue management and workplace safety requirements
• Maintain vehicles in a clean and professional condition
• Communicate effectively with customers, depots and transport teams

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional heavy truck driving experience
• Valid heavy vehicle driver's licence in your current country
• Demonstrated experience operating large commercial vehicles
• Strong understanding of road safety and safe vehicle operation
• Good driving record
• Ability to complete pre-start and safety inspections
• Experience with load restraint and safe transportation practices
• Ability to work independently and manage long-distance driving requirements
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Willingness to relocate within Australia
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing where required by the employer
